I fell hard for watercolor in 2019 while my fiancé (then boyfriend) was deployed with the Army. It quickly became my favorite way to unplug, relax, and get completely lost in the painting process.

Even better? Watercolor is forgiving when you forget to rinse your brushes immediately — which works well for me because I’m creative, not organized. However, I love both watercolor and acrylic and paint with both mediums.

Lately, that creativity has expanded beyond painting into web design too — another way I love bringing personality, color, and connection to life.

These days you’ll usually find me painting or designing websites with dogs lazing about the house (or demanding to be in the chair with me), a binge-worthy show playing in the background, and bold colors all over my desk. My goal is simple: spreading joy one painting at a time.
